Episode 220 – A Quest to Save the Great Leader Part 1

By Tim Lanning on

About Tim Lanning

Tim founded GeeklyInc with Michael DiMauro way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Tim could have never imagined.

Our rowdy monster crew gets let in on a secret tip that someone very important to them has been snatched. Knowing in their Monster Hearts that leaving the Atlanta Falcons alone is possibly a cowardly action, saving their leader is the most important thing they could do at this time. Cheryl is the most important Gnoll in the World of Drunkeros and by the scales of Semuanya she will be saved!

Also, a special thanks to Holden and Jake from the Wizard and Bruiser podcast for joining us on this adventure!

The adventure continues with Steve Melloncamp (Mike Bachmann), Aludra Wyrmsbane (Jennifer Cheek), Jaela (Nika Howard), Toby Treacletart (Tim Lanning) and your Dungeon Master (Michael DiMauro).  Don’t forget to follow our editors Steph Kingston (@stephokingston) and David Stewart (@spudcam)!

  1. i have tried on multiple occasions to log into itunes and leave a review, but because i don’t have a fancy new computer ( unsupported software much? ) i can’t. So i will leave this here. Boner. Boner. Boner. Boner. 5 stars. I hope to attend a geekly con some day, should have gone to Portland but i was just getting into it. Keep it up, and thanks for all the funny!

  2. Episode 220 was difficult to listen to. There was a lot of dead air and/or the audio from your guests was missing in places. Other than that, I really enjoy Drunks and Dragons.

    • Hi Joel, we had technical issues. We pulled the file down within an hour of its posting, but plenty of people got the bad one. The complete file is in there now, and should have shown up in your feed. If it didn’t, can you delete and redownload. If you are using an Android app, a lot of them cache the old files essentially forever, which is really frustrating in cases where we have tech issues. This time we created a whole new ep, so in theory everyone should be able to get the good file. Otherwise, you can definitely listen to it right here on this page.
