Re: GAME SUGGESTIONS

Why do you hate me? Hey, I'm working through Classic Ironman myself. I lost my best gene-modded Sniper (named after my wife, no less) and both of my high-level Support guys on an early terror mission when 3 cyberdiscs, 3 drones, and 10 chryssalids (plus 6 of their zombies) all ambushed me in a star...

Re: GAME SUGGESTIONS

I'd like to see Tim play the XCom expansion pack in Ironman on Classic or Impossible difficulty.

Re: The absence of a presence.

Adam bash needs to be on this podcast. He is the loose cannon this cast is missing. And Aludra needs a female cohort in crime, its a win win. Please make this happen. Are you kidding me? The podcast is already a clusterfuck of loose cannons. And that's exactly why we love it. Your misery is our ple...

Re: GAME SUGGESTIONS

Hooray for EU4! My wife calls it "the most complex game ever" and doesn't understand how I can play it for hours on end, but I love it (and EU3 before it). Plus, it's simple in comparison to Dwarf Fortress, so all is relative! Once you get a hang of the mechanics, there is an unbelievable ...

Re: wiki

I'm not exactly a techie, but I've handled the technical side of a large forum (http://forums.totalwar.org/) for several years, including mediawiki.  All my experience is with vBulletin, so I'm not sure how useful I'd be with this system, but I'd be willing to take a look at it if you'd like. I...

Re: wiki

Yeah, I was just about to write some entries when I found the thing had turned into a bot orgy.  Thrifty needs to restrict Wiki posting to people with registered forum accounts to prevent this kind of stuff.

Re: Your D&D experience?

I picked #3, but it's not quite accurate.  I first started with D&D back with the original red and blue boxes back in the early 80s, but never actually played with other people.  I then got a lot of books and materials for 2E and played a bit with some friends but none of us really kne...
