Re: 2019 Seattle area ride and roomshare

I am also a first timer! I can't drive (suspended license, long story), but I can pitch in for gas! If you have any estimate on costs of driving instead of flying, that'd be great for helping me figure out things. :)

Re: Geekly Event

Well, in event calendar order, we've got: MTG Draft, Ghostbusters tabletop, 10am Friday icebreaker, live show (one of the saddest things about missing GC for me), GeeklyConathon - Stage 1, Trivia Free Bar Crawl, Sailor Moon RPG, D&D and more D, Shadow of the Demon Lord, and One Last Job. That ap...

Holy crap, Hugo! Those are fantastic. How do we have so many good artists as Geeklies, when there's people like me who can barely draw stick figures?

Re: D&D and more D

As far as race and class go, whatever your imagination can come up with! Its a not so serious game, you guys should be having fun! As far as equipment goes, leave everything blank except one "special" item. Your characters will chance upon it fairly early in the game. This special item ca...

Re: D&D and more D

I have a tendency to enjoy making dumb character ideas and somehow rolling decent stats to compensate (i.e., Goblin Barbarian in 3.5, and rolled a high enough STR to compensate for the -4). Any restrictions?

Not to totally derail the thread, but that's what I've heard. Haven't experienced it much because I didn't want to pump real money into digital cards, but that's a topic for another time.

Re: I need your help!!! Brain Storming

I don't know if they do telecommuting (and I imagine moving to Washington would be nigh-impossible currently), but at least one company (Hasbro) is hiring programmers, at least for Magic The Gathering Online. I've heard they pay below the industry standard, but if they telecommute, that'd be better ...
