Re: Mechanics for Brute Force?

The races are entirely homebrew. I let players pick any race imaginable and then I gave them a starting skill and/or attribute bonus tied to that. We've since switched away from WoD, and have begun using Fate. Races don't have a skill bonus anymore, but some players have taken stunts that reflect th...

Re: New Geekly Peeps?

Hi new people! The forum is a nice place to dip your toes in, but if you're looking to slip in fully we're all pretty active on Twitter. Or better yet, subscribe to the twitch channel (twitch.tv/geeklyinc) so you can get alerted when we stream. The twitch chat is usually very active and always frien...

SAYER set to return in 2017

I’m writing new SAYER stuff. For a while I didn’t know what I had on my hands. I was thinking maybe a short story, then maybe a novel, but I never really thought too hard about a new season. I loved how things ended, and would hate to diminish that somehow. Recently I worked it out. I know how to re...

Re: Memories

I think it's up to argument whether OCEAN was stopped in any reality, honestly. It's one of those questions with no definitive answer.

I'm glad you've enjoyed show!

Re: Mechanics for Brute Force?

We got most of our spell structure from this unfinished fan made conversion: https://wiki.rpg.net/index.php/NWoD_Fantasy:Main_Page We also scrounged a few low power spells from the Mage books, but some of that stuff is world-breakingly powerful. The rest is pretty simple honestly. I took the ability...

Re: Moon Cops!

There were about 5 or 6 more episodes planned, but sadly one of the players had a issue with his computer and lost all of his audio. We couldn't work around it easily, as he was one of the more central characters, so we just had to move on from this.

Maaaaaybe? Kind of hard to commit but I would at least try to figure out a way to make this happen.

Game Title Suggestions Thread

Listen, I know you're really excited that Fistful of Pixels has relaunched here on GeeklyInc. But having a new podcast is a big responsibility, and your mom and I really need you to show what a big kid you can be. It's going to be your responsibility to feed it new video game titles whenever you can...

Re: First Episodes Hate?

I think you might be getting hyperbolic. I mean they've mentioned it here and there during feedback, but it's not like it's a constant conversation point.

Re: First Episodes Hate?

As someone who has made this statement about my own work in the past, I can tell you (for me at least) it's primarily a byproduct of underpromising and over delivering. Early episodes are always the rockiest, but the traditional chorus of "stick with us through the first episodes" is less ...

Re: SAYER secret messages POSSIBLE MASSIVE SPOILERS

I don't have any plans to reveal the story behind the ARG, the name, or what you would have earned by solving it until GeeklyCon. So in that vein there are still things you could figure out for your own sense of satisfaction.

Re: SAYER secret messages POSSIBLE MASSIVE SPOILERS

You guys did a pretty good job! Thanks for participating in the ARG. When I was planning it out it wasn't something I intended a few people to be able to solve. The fact that you got so close should make you proud!
