Re: Off-site Activities

While I don't have any official answer, I can say several of us have talked about getting passes for the public transport system - even getting from airport to hotel.

Steph is trying to decide another time to run this game (since she double-booked - smh), so you're not out of luck yet.

I may be open to more players if there is sufficient demand, or maybe even another game of it.

Re: I just ordered tickets to my first GeeklyCon!

There is a big variety. Magic the Gathering is huge. There are tons of non-traditional board games (i.e. Not Monopoly). Other tabletop rpg's get played, too. I ran End Of The World Zombies, there is also Call of Cthulhu, FATE, some weird anime system I've never tried, Fiasco, etc. There is also some...

Re: Come Say Hello on Reddit!

I'd say we are, unfortunately, a bit spread out. Some on Reddit, some on forums, many on Twitter, and some on google hangouts (we have a large chat that occasionally goes wild). I'd say the only one we seem consistent with is Twitter but they all go through ups-and-downs. Plus some people tend to on...

Hm, I hate trying to post images and such on mobile, so here is a link to my tweet with images: https://twitter.com/bapperson/status/679451691754876930

I got Crystal Growing kit and a kit to make a paper airplane launcher. Daughter is pretty excited about doing both of them.

Re: Thanks - Don't read if you haven't listened to episode 44 *SPOILERS*

Upvoted! So sad. Sayer is the first podcast to pull me in to the point I had to stop and take notes on everything. There were so many connections fit in, all the way to the end. I know I'll be relistening to the whole series yet again. So good. But so sad. How many times have I cursed Adam over Saye...

Re: Thank you Geekly.

Yep yep yep! I wanted to say special thanks to certain peopl even, but that list kept growing! So I'll say I'm so, so thankful for GeeklyInc and Geeklies. Helping me open up more, deal with OCD and anxiety better, flexing my inner geek, and so forth. It's been a great community with diverse opinions...

Re: Want to be a hapless NPC?

Ughhh, Steph. /eyeroll We can mangle my name: ベニヤミン アプリ Beniyamin Apuri (When addressed in a less familiar sense, Apuri becomes Apuri-san) (Informal nickname could be related to first two characters for Beni) (I tried to figure out a way to change Ben to Bento but couldn't come up with a good one)
