Whew, i'm done! XD
I drew a sketch of what I imagine Harper's face looks like whenever he sees Daisy transform into a dronkey while I was listening to the Slaad Village episode (I only recently caught up on the episodes) and working on another drawing in my sketchy-book, and that was where this comic was born! XD The sketch laid about forgotten for like a week or so, found it again after going through the book. Built a little webcomic up around it as practice for my sequential art skills and it turned out waaay better than I thought it ever could. The whole thing took 'bout a couple months overall whilst I was working on other shit (super busy these days, thankfully), but I only worked on it for a few minutes or so at a time. I would say the actual working time is easily at least 20+ hours. X(
The dragon in the logo is the MM's Ancient Red Dragon, the parchment texture was an open-source image I downloaded years ago and cut to fit under the panels. The texture and the bubbles are the only things that didn't originate from my own hand, I even painted all of parchment's weathering and burn marks! The text is all hand-written using a homemade text guide (lettering is sadly antiquated thanks to all those ugly ass fonts peeps use in Illustrator. Stop being lazy! *wags finger*).
Can't miss an opportunity and I didn't post this for my Aludra piece (page 1 on this thread), so if anyone wants to commission me for work (especially DnD characters, portraits, monsters, custom classes/MM pages, maps, props, ect.) I can be reached by PM. My rates aren't cheap by any means, but I do extremely high quality and fast work, I include the original .psd file, and all my prices are fair. You'll get a unique and wonderful work of art, I promise. ^_^
Well, that's it, hope you guys like it!
(Ugh, finally! Why is there a "forum limit" on attachents? Dealing with Imgur and linking the image was a nightmare -_-. Least I know how to do it now.)
