5e one shot

Postby Adam Bash » Sat Jul 05, 2014 12:28 am

So with 5th edition in the wild, there's been talk of wanting to organize a game. I figured it's been a while since I've ran a game, and no one can tell me I'm doing it wrong if none of us have played the ruleset yet.

So I'm setting up a 5e game for Tuesday July 15th at 8:45 CST.

Here are the basics, I'm prepared to run a game for exactly 4 people, which is super perfect because there's only 4 classes released currently. The party will be a wizard, rogue, cleric, and fighter.

I've already had more than 4 people express interest, and I want everyone to have the possibility of getting into the game. Sign ups will run through the weekend, then I will randomly select 4 players.

Before expressing interest, make sure you can commit to playing for about 3 hours that night, read the rules in advance, and have a webcam, a microphone, and a decent internet connection. We'll be recording the episode to help entertain Ash on her venture deep into America's hat, so don't commit yourself if that's going to be an uncomfortable amount of pressure.

Players
1) Fighter:
2) Cleric:
3) Rogue:
4) Wizard:

In! I'd be any class. But maybe first choice Wizard?

But I see that selection is random. So if I'm in I'm in if I'm not I'm not. Thank you for doing a game Adam. Whether I'm selected or not I'm sure it'll be legendary. :D

I'm curious to try it since I will be DMing with these rules soon. I would be up for any class.

How about as a bonus: if I don't end up in this game, I'll run a Fiasco game that same night for the other rejects.

I would most definitely be down to do this. And Fiasco for being rejected!

Second thoughts: I could probably run a 5e game as well...

Adam, let me know what your results are. I'll plan something just in case.
