About Tim Lanning

Tim founded GeeklyInc with Michael DiMauro way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Tim could have never imagined.

Put down that K-ON love pillow, and prepare yourselves: Transformation Sequence is joining the GeeklyInc Podcast Network!

Transformation Sequence watches and reviews all kinds of anime, from action and comedy to the magical girl genre, all while having Nietzschean discussions on morality and making as many butt jokes as humanly possible.

It’s also super accessible to Otaku both old and new, breaking down shows to make them easy to follow even if you haven’t seen them (provided you don’t mind some spoilers)!

Already running for over a year, Transformation Sequence stars Kym, Ben and Vincent, who have been active in the community with their dank anime memes and Fist of the North Star gifs.

New episodes of Transformation Sequence come out every week, with occasional mid-week mini-episodes to whet your appetite. The first episode under the GeeklyInc banner will be reviewing Revolutionary Girl Utena, guest starring Jennifer Cheek from Drunks and Dragons and Cast of Thrones!

So if you’ve been wondering what the heck the stars of Drunks and Dragons have been talking about when they make obscure anime references, now’s the chance to get on brand!

  1. I love the podcast, and have been waiting for it to be absorbed into the amorphous mass that is Geekly for a while now. Y’all were already pretty much part of the family, with Ben’s voice and Kym’s art at CaF and Jennifer and Nika appearing on TS.
