Episode Synopsis

This time on Cthulhu & Friends...

Our intrepid investigators are on a white ship plummeting down. When they wake up, they are in a car. After investigating the glove box, they find that the car is manufactured in 1982. A short while after that, they search the trunk and counted their belongings, including the bronze check and the artifacts. After driving down the road they discover they are in Illinois.

Shortly thereafter they head to a gas station to purchase an atlas and provisions. Upon inspecting the back of the milk carton, they discover the time frame is somewhere between November and December of 1985. On the road atlas, they discover a line separates most of the Eastern seaboard and part of Canada from the rest of the United States. It is grayed out and there are no details on the map. With the atlas in hand, they decide to head towards Chicago to peruse a library.

Seeing signs for the Library of Congress, they stop there. After researching what has happened, it comes to their attention that ghouls have taken over and formed a quasi-government on the Eastern seaboard. After relaying the news about the Great Transition, Anya loses her sanity and attacks Xander in a craze of hyper-sexuality. Anya, Erik, and Xander are escorted out of the Library of Congress and get back into the car to find a hotel.
