Great point by Sarah on how long it took to figure out whether the Firebolt was hexed or not. McGonagall just kept crit failing those Arcana rolls, I guess. Didn’t want to burn a spell slot for Detect Magic? Just take a damn long rest, Minerva. Jeez.
