About Tim Lanning

Tim founded GeeklyInc with Michael DiMauro way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Tim could have never imagined.

Well, we found Ros but we also found a group of fearsome thugs. One of which was wielding a giant Mordenkrad that really threatened Harper’s good looks. Who knows, maybe we can talk our way out of this battle? A hero can dream, right?

The adventure continues with Titus Harper (Tim Lanning), Thom the Dragonborn (Mike Bachmann), Aludra (Jennifer Cheek) and your Dungeon Master (Michael DiMauro).

  1. Since most people complained about the link not working, I would like to state that 3 years after the fact, the link does in fact work.
Also, every time you say “Stand the F…” I think you are going to say “Stand the fuck down!” … but I guess “Fallen” is okay, too…

  2. Jesus, was Rugul level 30 or something? He had more daily abilities than the other 3 players put together, rolled 14 or higher on nearly every single one of his d20’s (I noticed he rolled a 1 near the end and that’s it), and even his normal attacks did more damage than the group’s daily abilities. If the DM didn’t cheat and use the NPC to revive and attack then everyone would have died. Rugul could probably have solo killed a dragon in 3 turns.

  3. Bit late to this train, moved over to Drunks and Dragons from the Adventure Zone and have been really enjoying listening to it from the beginning. First time commenting is on this episode and it is only to say: I really hate the guest on this episode. Not just because he’s basically rolling an enemy to be malicious to the main characters, but also because he’s really god **** smarmy about it, repeatedly makes comments basically about how knowledgeable about dnd he is and essentially implies that it makes him better than the cast, and has an incessant annoying laugh.

Outside of that, I really love the cast and the podcast. Plan on enjoying listening all the way through!

  4. Working my way through the episodes and this one is a bit annoying. I agree with some of the above comments that the bugbear PC is OP. First, PCs are designed to be more powerful than monsters. That’s why they have things like dailies, encounters, and action points, etc. A monster can certainly have SOME of those things but when you let a monster race (with all the inherent advantages therefrom) have all the abilities of a PC class, you are going to have problems.

Plus, the kickstarter guy was really smug about it. GG for donating to the podcast but play with a little humility.

  5. Love this show but I’m going to have to skip this episode. Ragul was too powerful and the person playing him was smug and annoying. That constant laugh while killing “our heroes” got on my nerves!!
