No one on the ThriftyNerd staff speaks Japanese. This is, admittedly, one of our greatest faults (our greatest fault is loving too much). However, we can piece together what this new Soul Calibur V is trying to tell us. First of all, there will be a lot of big glowing weapons. Second of all, Ezio Auditore de Firenze shows off some of his stabbing techniques. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, there appears to be glimpses of what looks like an online lobby system and spectator mode which previous iterations lacked. Soul Calibur V can easily be a contender for best fighting game of 2012 if these online features prevail.
