This my friends, was a fun episode to make. We have the very last Bran chapter in existence and thats a bit sad, because its so early in the book, but that brings with it some amazing revelations. Theon has to pretend to be something he’s not, he’ll always be our Reek, because it rhymes with creek. Daenerys gets freak on, and we check in Jon. All in all, a great set of chapters.

Chapters! (spoilers for character names)

Bran III: ADWD 35

Jon VII: ADWD 36

Daenerys VI: ADWD 37

The Prince of Winterfell (Theon IV): ADWD 38

The Watcher (Areo II): ADWD 39

  1. I can’t remember if you guys covered this but in the first Bran Chapter they were eating people already. Like the “pig” the Coldhands finds is actually those guys who were following them. So the cannibalism is established and Jogen seems to not be fooled about the “pig”. And then jogen sort of disappeared.

Also it’s not clear Bran saw Robert Strong, it could be littlefinger, titan of bravos house sigil… and there’s another possible one that i can’t remember

  2. The really interesting thing about Lady Dustin is that she is totally the female littlefinger. Like she’s the person on the other side of the Bed/Catelyn match. She looses her husband he looses his foster father and then they just slowly start to accumulate power and plot revenge.

The other thing is I don’t think there really are any bad people in the series. Like yeah Ramsay is evil and all, but if you think about it Ned and Robert start a continent wide war of some person slights and crimes between these two families. Like how many people really need to die to avenge Rickard and Brandon? As soon as you peel back the onion on any of these characters, at least the high born ones, they all benefit from/traffic in human misery.

  3. I love Tim’s Jojen Paste enthusiasm, accompanied by the catchy jingle he came up with in tribute. That’s comedy gold.
