I’m just going to say it…this episode gets a bit out of hand. In what can only be described as a momentary lapse in sanity, this episode really goes places. Anyway…this week we check in at the wall, go on a short cruise with Tyrion, find out what really happened to Asha after her ambush, and get real with Dany’s ummm passion side. Nope still sounds gross, I tried to save it.

Chapters! (spoilers for character names)

Tyrion IX: ADWD 41

  1. Hi guys, I finally signed up on patreon and so glad I did. I love the bonus podcasts especially the season 6 spoilers episode from November.

Even if most or all of those predictions turn out to be wrong ito was so fun to imagine such crazy possibilities.

Would you consider doing an update ep, now that season 6 is only 2 months away? I would love to hear if there have been any changes, debunks or new info. I don’t mind / can’t resist the spoilers and will gladly listen to any and all. Although, if you do do another, it would be nice to get a bit of a notation regarding each spoiler/leak about its possible source and the credibility thereof.

I have to say, it’s really strange seeing you guys on video after so long listening to just your voices! But great also.

So I tried 4 other GoT podcasts recently and they are all kinda boring compared to cast of thrones, the game of thrones podcast. For one thing, your sound quality is better than most it seems. Also, I think Tims contribution really stands out and is especially entertaining. Spicy meatball, gday mate, miy wiiife, english accents, etc. But of course everyone together is where the magic happens and is > sum of parts.

Did you guys see The Expanse on syfy? It was really good hard scifi. Amusingly, did you notice how one of the actors looks suspiciously like kit Harrington? Haha!

    Can’t wait for next time. <3 J4

    • Thank you so much! We are having a lot of fun with the show right now and I think it makes us better. Just laughing and smiling all around.

I have not seen The Expanse, but I think I have heard good things?

      • Yes! it’s really unusually good for scifi tv. It seems like SyFy is trying to emulate HBO’s success with Game of Thrones. It’s based on a best selling (?) book series that is in the process of being written (9 books total I think). The first season based on the first book. It has cinematic production, a 10 episode season, involved story with lots of juicy characters in distant locales, some of whom die unexpectedly, warring factions/political intrigue/devious plotting, a mysterious contagion. I’ve seen it described as Game of Thrones meets Babylon 5. And as mentioned, a rather obvious casting of a Kit Harrington looking, attractive actor with dick abs (actually I don’t know what that means. But he has nice abs). Overall it’s not on the same level as GoT but it does push similar buttons.

Have you guys thought about doing a dedicated episode where you review some other shows, movies, doritos? Honestly, I think any excuse for you guys to get together and jib jab about topics would be a good listen! Maybe you could do a version of car talk, cash cab/trivia game or a cooking episode.

        Keep up the good work!
