About Michael DiMauro

Michael founded GeeklyInc with Tim Lanning way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Michael could have never imagined.

We are very pleased to announce that we have formed a new governing body at GeeklyInc LLC – The Geekly Council.

The Geekly Council is in charge of the day-to-day operations of GeeklyInc, including everything from updating the website to adding new podcasts to the network.

The Geekly Council was formed in May of 2020, and has been working behind the scenes to set up the council’s structure as well as setting both long- and short-term goals.

One of the Council’s goals is to improve Geekly’s offerings as a podcast network. The improvements aim to both help our current podcasts, and attract new shows that more closely mirror the diversity of our community.

“I am truly grateful for the opportunity to help the council make a positive impact on a network and community that have meant so much to me for 8 years,” says Council Chair Veronica Escamilla-Brady. “It’s humbling to have so many talented, dedicated, and enthusiastic people work together to ensure that our shows reflect our audience(s) and our shared inclusive values. I’m very proud of what we have accomplished in our short time together and am excited to continue our work and get feedback from GeeklyInc podcasters, streamers, and community members.”

Council members will be rotated out periodically. The current slate, listed below, includes Geekly podcast hosts and community members.
