  1. Hey Guys,
Thanks for a great show. The book club has been great! You mentioned at the end of this podcast that we should copy and paste our iTunes reviews here for the dire donkey t-shirt contest. Here’s what I left in the Canadian iTunes store:

Know What’s Better Than a Dire Donkey? A Dire Donkey T-shirt!

I really love listening to the gang talk about Game of Thrones – the TV show, and now the book! They were great help to a newbie like me as the show progressed in the first season without being too spoilery (except for the awesome fake spoilers!) I love the mix of uber fans and newcomers to the show. I laugh constantly and enjoy wherever the dire donkey chooses to take me each week. Thanks for the great podcast… and I’m not just saying that for the free t-shirt (I’ll take the XL, BTW!) Seriously, give them a try and it will enrich the GoT experience greatly!

  2. I was so sad that I missed out on the live chat for this >.< Silly work! Great episode as always! So excited for Season 2 to start.

  3. Thanks for making Ned’s death clean and painless. I don’t think I could have taken it again without your support. :'(

Here is a copy of my old review. If I win, and get the re-donkey-less 3 XXL shirt, I’ll try to see if it fits on our Mule. (Because it certainly won’t fit on me. ) His father was a dire donkey. Pretty sure he’s a bastard anyway.

    Subject: HODOR

HODOR hodor. Ho-dor ho dor. Hodorhodor. Hodorho. H odor hod or. Hooooo doooor. Hodor.

  4. So Good Its Like Giving SPR to a Blood Donkey

Hey guys! I must say that I LOVE this podcast and have loved reading along with you! You have filled the void between seasons as a Lannister fills his sister.

Seriously though, I look forward to a new one every week and I’m sure I look like a crazy person as I laugh with you during my morning commute on public transportation.

Keep up the great work and have fun with season 2!

  5. Title: Deserves to be reviewed three times!

Subject: Made plane rides more fun, and helps me understand the book/show a bit more. Can’t wait till the show comes back, and to hear your guys opinion of the show! 4 DAYS! YES! Now, I have to go trade in my polar bear for a diredonkey.

  6. Hey Guys,

I’m posting my mates review on his behalf and he’s too lazy too himself!

    ============================
    Sweeter then Mares Milk

This podcast rocks, it really is a must listen for all fans of HBO’s Game of Thrones or readers of the Song of Ice and Fire Series. Don’t be fooled by hollow imitations this is the only podcast where you’ll hear all about Dire Donkeys, Karl Drogo Accountant at Law – particularly nothing is off topic on taboo in this no holds-bar adventure podcast.

Recommended by my mate Alpha_7, I just can’t stop listening to the amazing crew – Thrifty Nerd, Nick Bristow, Jennifer Cheek, Tim Lanning and poor Mike Dao (forced to no read ahead in the books and the butt of many a “Stump Mike Dao Session”).

If you love Game of Thrones, getting your wine on or hanging out with friends discussion the things that really matter and sometimes the thing that don’t then check this podcast out!

Do yourself a favour and jump on the next Dire Donkey bound for Cast of Thrones land!

  7. Hey guys, first a big thank you for doing this wonderful podcast! After listening to you for all this time I finally left you a review in the German iTunes store (first one – yay!). I have no idea how complicated shipping the shirt would be in case I’d win but it was about time to review anyways.

Feels like talking GoT with your best friends

This is not only the best Game of Thrones podcast, this is probably my favorite podcast out there. These guys are so much fun, it feels like hanging out with your friends. They provide the right amount of information mixed with with a lot of jokes and donkey humor. Between the season they started the re-reading project of the first book which got me excited for season two all over again. Keep up the great work and the live broadcasts.

  8. Been listening to you guys during the loooooooooong break between seasons and I’m glad the podcasts just keep coming! Whoa, and you guys have a bonus podcast to flail about S2 before the premiere? Awesome.

Maybe this Canadian here could win a T-shirt, crossing my fingers! Here’s my iTunes review from a while back:

    Entertaining & helpful: 5 STARS.

I stumbled upon this podcast somehow having watched the first season of Game of Thrones, and the hosts do their best without spoiling fans who haven’t read the books yet! All sorts of topic are covered for the TV show after each episode, and the experiment they’ve got with Mike Dao is fantastic. He isn’t allowed to read past the season of the show, which means he’ll be there to make guesses (hilariously wrongly at times) about what’s coming up. If you have read the books, it’s still entertaining. They do have discussions about the books as well. Give it a listen!
