About Greetings, Adventurers!

Greetings, Adventurers! (previously Drunks and Dragons) is an award-winning actual-play, comedy podcast using Dungeons & Dragons as a framework for creating a (mostly) improvised narrative. Listen to a group of friends as they try to save the world without destroying it in the process (again).

Greetings, Adventurers! has been releasing weekly since November of 2012, and has built a considerable fanbase for a completely independant podcast. As of July 2019, the podcast has an estimated 180,000 unique monthly listeners world wide, and has over 20 million total downloads. Greetings, Adventurers! has even spawned an annual convention.

DnD has been featured on Geek and Sundry, Inverse, and the Wizards of the Coast official podcast.

At the 2017 Academy of Podcasters awards, Greetings, Adventurers! won Best Podcast in the Games & Hobbies category.

It is a member of the GeeklyInc Podcast Network, and is a Wondery partner show.

When you meet a new friend you just have to establish a baseline level of trust. A mysterious stranger meets up with our daring adventurers as they are trying to figure out this strange airship. Will this be a friend? Will this be a foe? The suspense has rendered my body into a jello like paste. I would be at home at a Nareevian pool party, I am so nervous!  The …

All great plans must answer a single question that is often overlooked – how the hell are you going to extract yourself from your current pickle that you have created for yourself? And this is where we find our heroes in today’s adventure. Sure, you could be tempted to assume they only wanted this airship because …

Glaine, the Jewel of the East, sure is nice for being a town taken over by goo-folks. While people seem to be generally bummed about the whole thing, the magical floating city almost makes the sky more beautiful. Street meat still tastes as good. The alleys still smelly. Sure is odd finding all this normal …

The wonderful denizens of Tidtowne offered their aid to our desperate heroes who sorely needed a helping hand. Now victory over the forces of Nareev seems somewhat possible as opposed to a 100% suicide mission. The floating magical city is still a mystery, but one victory at a time. The fighting force of Tidtowne should …

Facing off against dragons, an army of of shapeshifting cross-planar aliens or an entire colony of Slaad’s pale in comparison to what Steve must face today. Let’s hope that he inherited more of Thom’s resolve than we previously thought, because he will surely need it. How do you prepare yourself for when your one true …

We conclude our monstrous adventure as the small band of heroes finish up their side-quest, and mostly collect a lot of bones. Marvel as undead are turned for the first time in the history of our podcast, and many, many pits are fallen into. There may even be a bit of a surprise as the end.  The adventure continues with …
