About Tim Lanning

Tim founded GeeklyInc with Michael DiMauro way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Tim could have never imagined.

For a group of zany adventurers we are extremely afraid of dungeons. It is a little embarrassing how slowly we go through this dang thing… but in our defense, you can get eaten by a monster at any MOMENT! DANGER IS AROUND EVERY CORNER. I think. Also, this dungeon is really weird. I know you agreed, by downloading this podcast, that you would be taking advantage of the full 100% of you seat, but if I was a betting man, I would wager that you would need only the edge!

The adventure continues with Titus Harper (Tim Lanning), Thom the Dragonborn (Mike Bachmann), Aludra (Jennifer Cheek) and your Dungeon Master (Michael DiMauro).

Drunks and Dragons is a weekly podcast using the Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition ruleset. Please let us know what you think!

  1. Mike Bachman-Sunder the Axe! 4e doesnt have Sunder built into combat mechanics. But if you take a swing at the axe outside of combat, its a straight strength vs AC roll. And a metal hafted, one handed weapon has 20 hp. Just break it and be done with it.

  2. Power Gamer?…. That would imply doing this wouldn’t be completely in line w/ his character, and one of the more natural responses a dragonborn fighter would have in this situation. Trying to break the cursed object that has gotten between Tom and his beloved (literally) kick-ass magical blood-drinking sword. I think Tom would go ape-s*** crazy on that thing to the point he’d even make Aludra take a swing at it while it was still on his person.

  3. This was clearly a trap Thrifty had set. Had the trap been a giant pit Tom fell in, it wouldn’t be power gaming to suggest “roll climb”.
