About Tim Lanning

Tim founded GeeklyInc with Michael DiMauro way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Tim could have never imagined.

All people need to watch out for their influences. Sometimes they can overpower who you really are and make you do terrible things. Maybe they will even turn you into a monster or maybe even a terrifying spider hell creature. That is why you need to watch out and protect your own heart. Who hasn’t let outside influences change them into a tentacled monster who wants to hurt their friends?

The adventure continues with Titus Harper (Tim Lanning), Thom the Dragonborn (Mike Bachmann), Aludra (Jennifer Cheek), Jaela (Nika Howard) and your Dungeon Master (Michael DiMauro). Don’t forget to follow our editor Steph Kingston (@stephokingston)!

      • I liked this episode, it was far from the worst. It had Daisy-drider and possessed Bucky.
At 19:30 Nika casually says she rolled a nat 20 and then we hear her roll her dice before she immediately explains what her crit does. It’s impressive that she can predict the future like that. Did you guys ever start making her show her dice rolls on camera?

  1. I know it’s even a year later, but since this is the primary way I listen to most of these episodes as I venture through/catch up on the 200+ episodes, I’ve noticed there are many episode threads without comment. I’m guessing/hoping the OP is just trolling, because no comments doesn’t speak to lack of interest, just that it’s not the primary way most listen.

I personally think the run of episodes surrounding all this have been great, and Throfty set up a floating city and Bucky reveal that would be very in line with what you might read in an old Dragonlance book.

It’s fine for people to be critical, no need to always say “this is the best ever!” But it seems odd for a couple of people to troll or downspeak an episode/cast members in this way. If it’s not their cupa, there are plenty other things out there to go listen to.

  2. Guys, everyone knows that art imitates life and vice-versa, but…

“(…)The first alebrijes, along with use of the term, originated with Pedro Linares. In the 1930s, Linares fell very ill and while he was in bed, unconscious, Linares dreamt of a strange place resembling a forest. There, he saw trees, animals, rocks, clouds that suddenly turned into something strange, some kind of animals, but, unknown animals. He saw a DONKEY WITH BUTTERFLY WINGS (…)”

    Just saying… 🙂
