Episode 137 – That’s a Bingo!

By Tim Lanning on

About Tim Lanning

Tim founded GeeklyInc with Michael DiMauro way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Tim could have never imagined.

When preparing to leave a town or settlement for an extended period of time it is important to be mentally and physically prepared. Sure, grabbing ropes and food and such is good, but what about your mental state? When was the last time you had a good time at a club? These are the questions that are not asked enough by adventurers and it often leads to their deaths. Be safe.

The adventure continues with Titus Harper (Tim Lanning), Thom the Dragonborn (Mike Bachmann), Aludra (Jennifer Cheek), Jaela (Nika Howard) and your Dungeon Master (Michael DiMauro). Don’t forget to follow our editor Steph Kingston (@stephokingston)!

  1. Been with this a long time. Going to stare at my BeyondPod app for a while tonight and debate. I don’t mind that sometimes things go off the rail and get silly for a while, but this time it was obviously being done to deliberately see how much they could annoy people as a goof by not moving the story forward. I only say “deliberately” because of Michael’s “wheat from the chaff” comment at the end.

  2. Last episode frustrated me so much. There is no reason why Jaela would debate wether to save the last settlement of the world or not. She is supposed to be religious and faithful to Arathus (no idea how to spell it) but lately it seems like she is rebelling against that in a childish manner.

Moreover Thrifty hinted about the conseqences pretty clearly, the party being killed and almost everyone in the world dying (=end of campaign), why would one have to think twice about that?

Otherwise i really love this podcast and it has been great up to this point! I do not have anything against Nika she is a great player and addition to the cast.

  3. Ive been listening for about a month and a half bow, started with episode 1 and just kept at it. This is a really fun show to listen to (listening on Spotify). Its clear there are slower episodes here abd there, and i really dont mind, but i hope things pick up in the next few episodes. Overall its a great listen. Keep dicey guys!
