I love the feeling that you get when you start a new adventure! As adventurers moving on to the next big quest is pretty much our job. Saving the world one evil cult or murderous monster at a time. But, it is always important to use these transition times to reflect and to grow closer with your team. There won’t be time to chat once the arrows are flying or when you are being devoured by an ancient worm.
The adventure continues with Titus Harper (Tim Lanning), Jett Razor (Mike Bachmann), Aludra (Jennifer Cheek), Jaela (Nika Howard) and your Dungeon Master (Michael DiMauro). Editing help this week comes from David L. Stewart, check out his site spudcam.com.

Oh my goodness, the sound effects! Love this ep!
Gah!..the suspense is..killing me…
I am getting NWN2 Mask of the Betrayer vibes here, amazing twist to Jaelas storyline. And kudos for amazing sound effects!
I’m not sure Harper has thought through this whole revenge thing. If he stops to think about it, without Longcrier, he would basically be a nobody. In fact, he would probably be dead. The experiments he was subjected to may have been horrific, but he wouldn’t be where he is if it hadn’t happened (besides, it was his father who really was to blame). He almost certainly would have died along with the rest of his family in the demon apocalypse (although, without Harper’s role in events, the apocalypse may never have happened in the first place). He never would have had been in a position to take advantage of the trusting nature of the party by lying his way into their good graces or had the power to take advantage of the subsequent death and destruction he helped cause and elevate himself to king. He obviously would never have been able to achieve what he’s achieved on his own merit. I mean, he’s repeatedly demonstrated that he doesn’t have the temperament or intelligence to perform magic through hard work and study and would never have gotten anywhere if power hadn’t just been given to him. In fact, Harper aptly demonstrates that a sorcerer is basically a wizard who stole the answers to the test.
+1
Awesome episode! Loved it
Long time listener here, really enjoyed every session! Very cool to see youve gained a sponsor simply by doing what you guys do best! You deserve it. Looking forward to more adventures to tune in to and the eventual death of King Titus Harper.
Bachman youre a dude, you bring the best out of the box thinking. Jennifer your morality keeps the team on the chaotic good path. Mika your technical knowledge has helped me understand less obvious mechanics a hell of a lot better. Tim you drive the story forward so effectively I wish I had you in my DnD group.
Michael, from you I have learnt a huge amount about how to manage rule breaking, raucous, opportunistic players.
Brilliant stuff. Everytime.
Just got caught up on all the episodes. What an episode to do it on, love the voice fx. Now I will have to wait a week to have you guys in my ear holes.
Great episode! The twist with Jaela made yell out loud with delight while driving.
If drinking more wine means twisted Thrifty voices and ominous dreamscapes, then color me sloshed.
Eeeeekkkk the Raven Queen voice!!
This episode was posted on my birthday! Happy belated birthday to me! Steph did a phenomenal job with the sound effects in this one.
shit
The sound fx and editing of this episode was amazing. And the story build. Fuck yeah. “Sidenote, this is the coolest thing ever”
