Episode 210 – The Quest to Save Tidtowne, Part 2

About Michael DiMauro

Michael founded GeeklyInc with Tim Lanning way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Michael could have never imagined.

Our small band of monsters continue the side-quest this week. They delve deeper into this unusual crypt that you, the listener, has maybe encountered before? Let’s hope the team doesn’t get too distracted by all the beautiful bones because they still need to save the noble leader of Tidtowne.

The adventure continues with Tug (Mike Bachmann), Baz (Jennifer Cheek), Kass (Nika Howard), Beetle (Carly Shields) and your Dungeon Master (Michael DiMauro).  Don’t forget to follow our editors Steph Kingston (@stephokingston) and David Stewart (@spudcam)!

  1. Out of 210 episodes these past 2 have been the absolute best. No drama and fake acting and side meta gaming bs. This is real dnd with players who are into it. Carly really adds a new layer and with the gender questionability of themikebachmann I would argue that is is the first all female mainstream dnd podcast. Keep this lineup…it is the best.

    • Whaaat? O_o I really don’t think Bachmann’s gender is in question, haha. Besides, who cares about what gender they all are, they’re all great people and entertainers, regardless of that. How could you abandon the good boy Tim after so many years of his presence! T_T

  2. Can you guys please organise the podcast’s files better (like rename, add titles, etc.). It’s been awful as Loki’s sweaty armpits to try and listen everything in the correct order (I download the files!). Some don’t even have a title, some have the same name as another one!

Anyway, kudos on the Podcast, always gets me laughing like a drunken stoat. Cheers!

    • Against all odds, the files do rigidly follow a naming convention, so I’m assuming you are actually talking about the meta data? There is no way we are going in and changing that. It would take at least a hundred hours to change all the files’ metadata.

There are endless apps that download and organize podcasts for you. Why not use one of those? Also, the way you are doing it makes it nearly impossible for us to get credit for those downloads, so it is actively hurting the show by making it seem less popular while we still have to pay for the bandwidth.

  3. This trips me out. You listened to over 200 episodes of “fake acting and side meta gaming bs” in the hopes of hearing an episode like this one? XD I guess masochism is more prevalent in the general population than I thought…
