This weeks episode brought some divisive opinions among our esteemed cast of podcasters. We had an exciting episode with some controversial points from D and D. We get the reunion of some Stark children, the meeting of fire and ice, Cersei and Jamie are back together, and the Lannister plan is starting to make sense.

Overall another strong episode in this short season that only makes us wish we had more time to spend with our best friends in Westeros.

  1. You guys…. okay, first I want to say that I love the show and you guys are super funny. I really wanted to leave a comment, though, cause I’ve been listening to the back catalog and the way you guys freaked out about the Sansa/Ramsey thing seemed SUPER exaggerated two episodes later when Shireen was burned at the stake and you guys joked about it. Every time you guys talk about sexual assault or sexual violence it kinda feels like you mostly believe what you’re saying but that you are also trying to cover your bases with your audience. Yes, it was awful, and it was supposed to shock the audience and it did. It was upsetting. But Shireen’s death was 1000x more upsetting. If you guys had devoted an equal amount of time to wringing your hands about her death, it’d be easier to listen to your feelings on sexual assault. Sure it’s upsetting but I’m honestly baffled by how it warrants as much outrage as it received. It’s violation of a nearly-adult compared with the murder of a child.

Otherwise, I love your podcast!! Thank you so much! I just started listening this season and I wish I’d found you sooner 🙂

  2. Another smash hit from the goodest podcast this side of Myr. Remember when it used to be fun to complain about how quick people were teleporting across the map? Ah, those were the days. Simpler times.
