What can I say about the GeeklyInc community that hasn’t already been said? Not much, so I’ll just reiterate that you’re all incredible, GeeklyInc has one of the best communities on the internet, full of so many friendly and generous people and this past weekend you all proved it once again.

The 24-hour International Tabletop Day charity stream was incredible this year . We reached our goal of $5,000 in just 8 hours and the community just kept on giving. In the end we raised a total of $10,777 for the ACLU!

I can’t thank you all enough and I love the fact that you all love silly numbers so much that you’re willing to donate obscene amounts of money just for a number goof (one person donated nearly $2,000 just so the total read $4,200).

We had some amazing support from some great companies and members of the community and gave away over 40 prizes to donors and the people in chat.

A big thank you to Justin McElroy who took the time to join us on the stream for an interview, and of course a special thank you to the incomparable Tim Lanning who was on the stream for the whole 24 hours.

I’m pretty sure that I speak for everyone here at GeeklyInc and the ACLU when I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all your support during the stream. Whether you were a donor, a player, or even just gave us moral support in chat. We really couldn’t have done any of this if we didn’t have such an amazing community, so thank you.

I’ve no idea how we’re going to beat this total next year, but I know if anyone can do it, it’s the GeeklyInc community.
