The title just about says it all. During the pre-E3 Nintendo video, Iwata stated that their “focus” will be the Wii U during the press conference. He went on to tell us not to worry as there would be plenty of other events to talk 3DS.

While I understand the need to focus on their new platform, the lack of any 3DS announcements would make me very nervous about the 3DS’s lineup for the upcoming year. Nintendo has a history of putting out their core games on a new system and then nothing for a long time.

There will undoubtedly be plenty of 3DS games on the floor, but it would be nice if Nintendo actually highlighted them.
