Michael founded GeeklyInc with Tim Lanning way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Michael could have never imagined.

Ever wonder what happens after a long night of dungeoneering, when you head to the store and sell off the various oddments you collected on your adventures? Moonlighter answers this question by letting you play both sides of the coin. By night you hack and slash your way through randomly generated dungeons collecting all sorts of goodies, and then by day you run a shop where you sell off your new finds.

Moonlighter combines cute pixel art with a bevy of game play systems. I was immediately stuck by how much there was to sink my teeth into. You will be upgrading everything from your character to your cash register. There are also RPG elements as you interact with the townsfolk to craft and upgrade your armor and weapons.

The shop keeping mechanic will have you trying to set the best price for your hard-won loot. Customers will have a number of different reactions depending on whether things are priced too low or too high. You may even have customers send you on quests for specific materials.

There is so much to explore in Moonlighter. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on it in late May, 2018. It will be available on PC, Mac, Switch, Xbox One, and PS4.
