  1. Been wanting to go to Geekly Con since last year when I started listening to Drunks & Dragons, but unfortunately it was too late for 2016. And okay- not going to lie. The biggest thing holding me back from buying tickets to GC is not havin enough time off from work, but if it’s meant to be (ie. free tickets?!) I’ll make it happen and skip work if it comes down to it!!

  2. Very excited about the contest. I’ve wanted to go to geekly con since the first time I heard about GC1 on the podcast. Sadly I’ve been unable to go due to funding. Winning would sure help xD

  3. I am in this video. Rad. I already have tickets, but I think with a few extra i could convince some others that may be a bit more shy to come along and make great friends.

  4. Oh man, I’ve been trying to convince people to come with me…free tickets would help! This looks amazing! I’ll finally be caught up on Drunks &I Dragons by the time I get there, too!! ^_^

  5. I unofficially have dates for Geeklycon off. If I win a ticket I’ll either be there on vacation or taking some sick days. Really looking forward to being there.

  7. My husband has turned me onto the geekly universe with Drunks and Dragons when we first met a couple years ago! Geekly always has a place in my heart and our relationship. Winning tickets could give us the push to go this year since we can’t PAXEast due to our honeymoon. ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. I’ve been listening for about a year now, starting with Drunks and Dragons because I was seeking a podcast to embrace my inner geek! I had no clue I’d find a community, a forum, and friends amongest a single podcast! I now listen to almost every Geekly podcast (still trying to get to the others!) and found that participating in he online community is so much fun! I would have never talked on a mic or google hangout’d with anyone before, but everyone has been so nice and lovely!

I’ll keep participating in game night and kicking ass as Mei on Overwatch!

The biggest halt in me purchasing my ticket is because I’m moving across the country to California in May, so I’m very tight with money.

Regardless if I get the chance to go or not, I can’t wait to befriend more of you amazing geeks :D!

  9. I love the D&D podcast, Cthulhu and friends is great also. And free tickets would be great. A chance to meet others with the same interests as me. A weekend where my dreams can come true.

  10. Been listening for few years now. Started just a couple episodes behind Drunks and Dragons. Really looking forward to finally meeting all these Internet friends in person. Wanting to get out of my shell and get over my social anxiety.

  11. I’ve been listening to all the Geekly Inc. content since they started. That being said, I’ve missed out on buying tickets each year.

    Oi.

This year I shall not be denied. I will partake of the games and camaraderie

  12. I’ve wanted to go the past couple of years, but travel expenses have held me back. This year, GeeklyCon is within driving distance, and a free ticket might just mean it’s destiny!

  13. I want to have a chance to meet people in the Geekly community, and hopefully this will be a chance for me to be a bit more social with people as I’m normally fairly shy

  14. I’ve always had the worst of luck in any sort of contest or giveaway, but I’m hoping that the universe has just been saving up all my good luck for this moment. Going to Geeklycon would be amazing. I was unsure if I’d be able to make it but this contest would be a huge help. I just want to play board games with some geeklies.

  15. After binge listening to the Drunks and Dragons podcast for 2 months this last summer I would love nothing more then to go hang out with everyone.

  16. I am excited for this year, Geekly Con is coming to MO, my home state! I’ve been excited for a chance to meet the geekly fam since I started listening last year!

  17. It would be amazing to occupy the same physical space with you all, as opposed to the emotional and metaphysical space I occupy with you all daily.

  18. I’d like to go because I’ve lost my beautiful boy Tim to the dark side of moba gaming and I’m out of drunks and dragons episodes to listen to, so I’m experiencing withdrawal and have been warned by the judicial system to stop trying to record strangers who sound like the geekly crew to fuel my addiction.

  19. Getting to meet awesome people and be a part of the community would be amazing. I live a bit far away, so trying to justify the ticket price AND cost of travel makes it seem like I won’t get to go this year, but maaaybe…

  20. As much as I would love to go to GeeklyCon, my schedule will not allow, but I wanted to leave a comment regardless and say the video was awesome and it looks like GeeklyCon will be super fun. For those going, have a great time! For those not, we got dibs on next year! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  21. The boyfriend and I have been wanting to go to Geekly Con since you first started it. Unfortunately we could never afford to go as both of us were in college. It would be an awesome Anniversary gift if I could surprise him with tickets to GeeklyCon 2017! Love all ya’ll Geeklies!

  22. My name is Kelli and I owe my happiness to my dear friend Jace and the drunks and dragons podcast.

Picture this: I have devolved to a pot of coffee by day, bottle of wine by night slime. I barely leave bed but to empty the bedpan out my window into the driveway. My parents hold hands and cry under my bedroom doorframe as I beg them to buy me another game boy so I can trade all the Pokรฉmon I’ve caught since being unemployed. Fast forward a few minutes, and Drunks and Dragons is on. Suddenly, I’m out of bed. My parents are crying with joy. I’m running six miles at the park and having conversations with adults that don’t involve me apologizing for pooping on a bus. Someone hands me a 20 dollar bill and a small melon as they walk by.

Jace showed me this podcast nugget a month ago and I haven’t looked back since. It is great to live in 2013 again. If Jace can save me with the beauty of drunks and dragons, think of what magic he can perform (lol) if we both go to geekly con. I will make brooches and cufflinks out of tinfoil to bribe you.
    Love Kelli

  23. This year, a friend of mine is coming down from Boston to visit! We’ve been good buddies for years now and I want to give them the best experience that St. Louis has to offer! We’re both huge nerds and having a free ticket to GC would not only make it easier for us to geek out together, but with the extra money, I could make their experience even better!

  24. I’ve been listening since episode 50, and even had tickets to go to GeeklyCon in Portland last year!

I had to back out last minute (literally less than a week beforehand) because I needed to find a new place to live, and it was such a bummer to have to miss it when it was only a couple hours away!

  25. I want to enter. I’m becoming a bit of a recluse, but if I could win the tickets for someone of modest means, it would mean the world to me

  26. I would really like to go to Geeklycon because I just recently became a part of the community and i would love to meet all of you wonderful people in person.

  27. I’ve been getting into tabletop games mainly by listening to podcasts. I’m too nervous to go to my local store and none of my friends are interested. Going to GC would be a great way to meet ppl and start playing the gamesame I en listening to
