Listeners, do you hear that? Is that flapping noise the sound of the New Jersey Devil? Oh wait, its just the sound of THOUSANDS of moths coming for Sarah!
In this week’s episode, Michael, Sarah, and Bijaya discuss Aragog, Hagrid’s trusted and cuddly giant spider-friend, whilst questioning Hagrid’s logic in sending children to meet with his said (murderous) spider-friend. The Quizzich Cup rivalry is heating up (its Finch, not Flinch) and the gang talks about their phobias, past and present.

Sarah, I loves ya but I think you meant to go with “Yenta-style” not “Yentl-style” unless you’re implying that Hagrid was actually a woman in disguise putting on all that beard and shit so she could study Talmudic law. From spiders and other monsters, I guess. As interesting as that story sounds, I don’t think that’s what JK was going for.
You are correct, Matt. I definitely meant Yenta-style. Though now I find myself being compelled by a Yentl-style story of Hagrid. She was a giant who just wanted to Care for Magical Creatures, but Wizarding Society held her back…
And now I desperately want that story. The world needs that story. I think you know what you have to do.
BIJAYA TRY GOOGLING CIGUAPA. MAYBE SHE IS THE SAME WITCH LADY FROM AROUND MY AREA.
Yikes!! Maybe Nepalese and Dominicans are being haunted by the same creature!!
