Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Michael could have never imagined.A quick note: We had some audio issues this week, and we apologize for the lack of quality. This week on Drunks and Dragons: Our heroes come face-to-face with one of the dwellers of Shadowspar, and battle quickly ensues. Will the gang survives? Will they agree on what an arcana check does? Will one of the group cause another member of the group to get hammered to death? Only time will tell!

Hey just wanted to say that even though I never have played DnD I absolutely love this podcast. I gave it a shot bc I love Cast of Thrones, and I’m glad I did! You guys are hilarious and definitely make work a lot more bearable (bareable? Whatever). My only complaint? Its only once a week!

Hey, guys. I found your podcast on iTunes while I was looking for new podcasts to listen to. I decided to give yours a listen because I like a similar podcast with a famous comedian (I won’t name it here). I have to say, this is a great show! I have never played D&D and always kind of made fun of people that played it, but you guys have helped change my mind. I find myself wanting to play now, but sadly, none of my friends would ever play. I can’t wait to see where the adventure goes from here. You guys are always at the top of my must-listen list so thank you!
After listening to this episode, I am just wondering if Darkblade is in a permanent state of combat advantage. I wouldn’t be supposed to hear him say. “Because I started my turn in a prone position with my hands bound, I gain combat advantage against (insert monster).”
I’m sad that nobody laughed at Michael’s Dalek joke
The DM’s voice sounds about 3 octaves deeper than usual and difficult to understand. He sounds like one of those kidnappers that use a voice modulator to mask their identity. He sounds like James Earl Jones inhaled Sulfer Hexafloride, that gas works like helium on the voice except it makes it deeper instead. Either he hit quadruple puberty right before recording or his audio software was having issues. Or maybe I’m just having a stroke right now since nobody else in 3 1/2 years seemed to notice it.
You should listen to the outtake of…ep 179? I think. It is horrifying. His mic broke and caused hysteria.
And to think, Mystery Science 3000 never crossed the D&D dungeon spaces until this podcast. Ingenious show!
I might keep listening to these old shows just to hear what else you encounter.
