About Tim Lanning

Tim founded GeeklyInc with Michael DiMauro way back in 2013 when they realized they had two podcasts and needed a place to stick them. Since then, Geekly has grown and taken off in ways Tim could have never imagined.

  1. I have watched all 312 episodes in about a month. I had gone 15 years without a d&d group. Thanks to you I now have introduced 3 people to this lovely game and now play once a week. You all make constantly laugh. Backman’s characters and lunacy can never be predicted. Lanning’s characters are always well developed, and are a constant source of hilarity. Jennifer will never break the rolling curse, and her constantly being taken aback by the horrible repercussions of your action are a delight. And I couldnt imagine a better person to round out your group then nika. Thank you for the magic that is the world dimauro has crafted. And you three railroad into the mess that is.

  2. There is some noise that sounds like constant mouse-clicking just throughout episodes lately. I understand that all the players use their computers for dndbeyond, but the noise has just gotten so distracting that I’ve found it difficult to get through recent episodes. I really hope they find a way to edit out the sound or reduce the amount of unnecessary clicks.

    • The sound effects that you hear are NOT clicking from keyboards. They are clicking from staplers and other office sound effects. (Including printers)

The party is in the offices of the bank and the background ambiance matches…
