Dreadful Thoughts is a podcast dedicated to Showtime’s Victorian horror series: Penny Dreadful .  Each week during the show’s run, hosts Ashleigh Shadowbrook, Nika Howard, Brad Brockway and Steph Kingston discuss each of  the episodes in depth, including all of the daddy issues, backsack, and the dead dicks involved. (Trust us, you’ll want to know what those last two are) These guys do their homework and  In the off season Dreadful Thoughts puts out bonus content and book clubs galore. Just this off season they read Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, and The Picture of Dorian Gray.

The show itself is wonderful. It’s a mix of classic horror with the modern. The result is very creepy and terribly fun to watch. What makes it even more fun to watch is the Dreadful Thoughts Podcast!

A season one re-cap for Penny Dreadful will come out later this week, and the new season starts Sunday, May 3rd on Showtime and airs right after Game of Thrones at 10pm ET/PT.
