About Greetings, Adventurers!

Greetings, Adventurers! (previously Drunks and Dragons) is an award-winning actual-play, comedy podcast using Dungeons & Dragons as a framework for creating a (mostly) improvised narrative. Listen to a group of friends as they try to save the world without destroying it in the process (again).

Greetings, Adventurers! has been releasing weekly since November of 2012, and has built a considerable fanbase for a completely independant podcast. As of July 2019, the podcast has an estimated 180,000 unique monthly listeners world wide, and has over 20 million total downloads. Greetings, Adventurers! has even spawned an annual convention.

DnD has been featured on Geek and Sundry, Inverse, and the Wizards of the Coast official podcast.

At the 2017 Academy of Podcasters awards, Greetings, Adventurers! won Best Podcast in the Games & Hobbies category.

It is a member of the GeeklyInc Podcast Network, and is a Wondery partner show.

That Queen Ashayara Dayne really has it out for our heroes. Wonder why? It all seems a little unfair if you ask me. The Courtroom is a different type of battlefield, one that the brave adventurers are not quite used to. Hopefully, nothing too…permanent happens to them. Heck, even being exiled would be terrible, not …

I guess it sorta makes sense the Queen Ashayara Dayne would be mad at us, what with the death of her beloved husband. Sure, it wasn’t our fault but I guess she doesn’t know that. And honestly, this couldn’t have come at a worse time since we came to Pelor’s Hope first on our worldwide …

With our weary bones mended and our collective experience enriched the gang is off to save the world yet again. But how! They have no shortage of enemies, but allies, that is another story. Pals, acquaintances, non-murderous rivals – sure, but actual allies…not so many. There are so many options of lukewarm compatriots to choose …

Heading directly into Nareev seems like some sort of suicide mission, so the gang shows a small bit of restraint and collects their thoughts and energy in Toby’s family home. Turns out, things are mostly fine in Glaine, the Jewel of the East, which is a bit of a shocker after the big tussle just …

Wow. Just wow. After the horrible betrayal by the traitor Jett Razor the gang is hopeful that the return of Steve the Gnoll will turn their luck around. Wait, do we still call him Steve the Gnoll? That head certainly doesn’t look…Gnoll-ish…He seems powerful and full of goodness so that is a plus. Just the …

Now that Toby’s magical device has the reagents needed to locate this arcane anomaly the gang heads into Glaine, the Jewel of the East. They have no idea what they are looking for exactly, but often times magical monstrosities of this type are not the best at being subtle. I am sure something will pop …
