About Greetings, Adventurers!

Greetings, Adventurers! (previously Drunks and Dragons) is an award-winning actual-play, comedy podcast using Dungeons & Dragons as a framework for creating a (mostly) improvised narrative. Listen to a group of friends as they try to save the world without destroying it in the process (again).

Greetings, Adventurers! has been releasing weekly since November of 2012, and has built a considerable fanbase for a completely independant podcast. As of July 2019, the podcast has an estimated 180,000 unique monthly listeners world wide, and has over 20 million total downloads. Greetings, Adventurers! has even spawned an annual convention.

DnD has been featured on Geek and Sundry, Inverse, and the Wizards of the Coast official podcast.

At the 2017 Academy of Podcasters awards, Greetings, Adventurers! won Best Podcast in the Games & Hobbies category.

It is a member of the GeeklyInc Podcast Network, and is a Wondery partner show.

When a plan just makes sense, you can’t think about it too hard. You just have to go for it. Making a crime boss eat his own poisoned pin in a bowl of beans is both poetic and a richly deserved fate. In this episode we watch this beautifully concocted plan play out. Nothing goes …

Now that Skud has low friends in high places things continue to get dicey. Especially since we can’t really trust all these damn low friends. Not surprising but still so dang disappointing! Anyways, we are closing in on several of our small time goals in the big house so I got a feeling we are …

Having gotten their work assignments, our heroes now actually have to go to them and perform adequately enough to not get fired or murdered. Things sure are complicated in this prison. I guess it is probably the most complicated prison in all of the realms if you think about it. Anyways, we gotta get out of here and I guess free our blood? That is a weird thing to say but we have definitely said weirder things. But even …

When starting any new life activity – prison included – you have GOT to make a great first impression. One well-known way to do that it is a sucker-punk the biggest prisoner in the place. In this episode we go ahead and explore that space. Oh, and Skud is back. Oh, and what’s up with …

Dang! We are in the slammer! No big deal though, I am sure we will come up with something. Many adventurers have been locked up and then came up with their most daring stories from their dangerous escapes. Sure, we have no way to access our magics… and we can’t find Skud or Frank… but …
