Persona 5 is one of my most anticipated games of the year. The series known for being both a hardcore JRPG and highschool simulator is finally coming to a current console and it shows. The trailer only offers a brief glimpse at gameplay, but it looks stylized and sharp. The characters appear older and more mature than previous casts and it seems to convey a darker tone.

The gameplay we get to see is a bit more energetic as well. We see the main character platforming from chandeliers and darting down a hallway. We also get a peak at the battle menu, and its a familiar site.

With the series impeccable track record, this trailer only bolsters my anticipation. We can only hope we get the game in English soon after the Japanese release.
